Support, the Grievance Officer required by Indian law, and how to exercise your data rights.

1.Support

For anything about a tournament, a match, a payment to a host or your account: hello@thesaaspeople.com, or the Feedback link in the footer when you are signed in. Hosts settle disputes inside their tournament first; escalate to us when a host does not respond.

2.Grievance Officer

Published under Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Rule 4(5) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and Section 8(10) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days of receipt (Rule 3(2)(a)(i), IT Rules 2021). Requests to take down content that shows a person in a state of nudity or sexual act, or impersonates them, are acted on within 24 hours (Rule 3(2)(b)).

3.Data-protection requests

Access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent and nomination under the DPDP Act:

  1. Signed in: Account → Privacy downloads your data and deletes your account on the spot. Session-recording consent is a checkbox there and under Privacy choices in any footer.
  2. By e-mail: write to hello@thesaaspeople.com from the address on your account. We verify identity before acting and reply within 15 days.
  3. If a parent or guardian is acting for someone under 18, say so in the e-mail; we may ask for confirmation.

Unresolved? You may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is constituted (DPDP Act, s.18) or to the consumer forum with jurisdiction under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

4.Law enforcement and takedowns

Requests from courts, police or government agencies go to hello@thesaaspeople.com with the legal basis cited. Content-removal orders are actioned within the period the order states or, failing that, 36 hours (Rule 3(1)(d), IT Rules 2021).
